The End of One Year ......Beginning of Another

Sad....I haven't had much time for my art recently. Just thought I'd catch up my blog with what I did during the end of year period.

Towards the end of 2011 I was asked to paint a portrait of a pet that had passed away. I had never painted an animal portrait before so thought it would be a good challenge. The lady that purchased the painting was happy and I was relieved. Here is the result.

This little dogs name was Trixie :)

 Another sugar skull finished and sold.

Floating Heart....Really don't know what I was thinking doing this one.
