The End of One Year ......Beginning of Another

Sad....I haven't had much time for my art recently. Just thought I'd catch up my blog with what I did during the end of year period.

Towards the end of 2011 I was asked to paint a portrait of a pet that had passed away. I had never painted an animal portrait before so thought it would be a good challenge. The lady that purchased the painting was happy and I was relieved. Here is the result.

Finishing The Unfinished.

Well this week has been a week of finishing of all of my unfinished paintings. The ones I simply got stuck on and put away until I was in the right frame of mind. I'm just glad they are finished. I'm not really happy with any of them but glad I got to finish them.
